ABOUT ME
I am an enthusiastic, hard working costume maker and wardrobe head. Originally from Elgin, Scotland I moved to London to fuel my love of theatre, film and costume. Studying at University of the Arts London and in 2018 graduating received a First in my Theatre and Screen : Costume Design. Although based in London I have gone on to work as a costume maker, designer and stylist in different countries, I enjoy travelling and learning about new cultures.
I have worked in both theatre and film, I have recently been the head of department on Last Man Down directed by Fansu Njie, a feature film based in Sweden. I have also run the wardrobe department at War of The Worlds Immersive so I am proficient in the organisation and smooth running of a wardrobe department. I have made lots of my own costumes from “found objects” my recent work being a dress which transformed into puppet theatre made from completely found materials.
Within my own practice I enjoy making costumes from unconventional pieces, hoping to push the boundaries of costume design and textile creation.
